School Holiday Workshops at Milktooth Kids Art
If your kids have a story to tell or a world to build, Milktooth Kids Art has the school holidays covered.
Running the week of July 13, Milktooth is offering two immersive two-day workshops led by talented artists and educators. Small class sizes, all materials included, and the kind of hands-on experience that stays with kids long after the holidays are done.
Manga Club — Witch Hat Atelier with Campbell Whyte
Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 July | 9am to 3pm | Ages 7+
Led by award-winning comics author Campbell Whyte, this two-day masterclass takes students deep into the craft of comics-making. Using the stunning series Witch Hat Atelier by Kamome Shirahama as inspiration, kids will explore page layout, pen types, toning and lettering — learning the full range of techniques that bring a comic series to life. Perfect for beginners and experienced young artists alike.
Applied Art — Unicorn Tapestry with Elizabeth Marruffo
Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 July | 9am to 3pm | Ages 7+
Inspired by the famous Lady and the Unicorn tapestries — considered among the greatest works of art from the Middle Ages — students will spend two days designing, stitching and creating their own textile art. Expect pennants, poseable felted animals, tactile materials like felt, velvet and corduroy, and plenty of creative freedom.
