Scitech workshops are back this summer school holidays! Choose from a range of engaging workshops for children 5-12 years old. 

Mix & Make Show

What’s in the recipe book? Find out as you cook up some home science in this colourful and entertaining show for families with children under 7 years old.

This delightful performance is all about science you can try at home. Their silent presenter uses household items, dress ups and ingredients to create concoctions with the help of audience volunteers, all to a musical soundtrack specially created by Envelope Audio.

This activation is suitable for families with younger children (3-7 years) and goes for 25 minutes, at the Grandstand area.

Explore how technology advancements and medical breakthroughs have revolutionised the way we live, opening new possibilities and making the world a more inclusive place.

Planetarium Shows

Ocean Odyssey

Our climates, coastlines, ecosystems, and economies are tied to the perpetual movement of water between continents. The great ocean currents are the arteries and veins of Planet Earth! Containing stunning imagery and award-winning cinematography this film transport viewers deep into the blue heart of our planet—our oceans.

This show is on every weekend at 1pm and is for visitors over the age of 4.

 

Birth of Planet Earth

This spectacular film tells the tale of our planet’s origins and explores some of the greatest questions in science today: How did the Earth come into being? What does its history tell us about our chances of finding other worlds that are like our special planet? How did life on Earth begin?

This show is suitable for visitors over the age of 4 and goes for 45 minutes.
