Getting Here

 

Located at the Western entrance to the CBD, in the grounds of the old Plaistowes chocolate factory and a peach cannery, City West is one of the easiest destinations to get to for a day out with your friends or family.

With direct access from both Kwinana and Mitchell freeways, the train line and buses right on our doorstep, two hours of free parking in addition to a cycle path, there is an easy option for everyone whether you are coming by foot, car, bus, bike or train.

Car

City West Centre is just a quick trip down the freeway. Take the Market Street or Wellington Street freeway exits. When you’ve enjoyed your time with us you can leave via the “on” ramps for Freeway North via Sutherland Street and Freeway South via Market Street.

Train

City West Station sits adjacent to City West Centre on the Fremantle Line for visitors travelling from the East or West. North and South visitors can use Leederville Station and take the Green CAT bus to the first stop at City West Station. There is a pedestrian crosswalk for you to safely cross to the Centre.

Bus

Transperth buses 81-85 all stop at City West and you can plan your journey at: Transperth.

Bike

There is a cycle path that runs alongside the railway line and bike racks can be located at Plaistowe Mews.

Parking

You are welcome to 2 hours of free parking in the undercover and external parking bays, accessible from Sutherland Street and Railway Street. These car parks are “Pay By Plate” so please enter your registration number to obtain 2 hours free or you can choose to pay for a longer stay. For your convenience the car park is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
